Legal Support That Meets Your Family Where You Are
Not every family needs full-service representation.
Some families may need help understanding their options; others might need documents prepared, or coaching through a certain part of the process. With our customized legal services, we meet you where you are, identify how much legal assistance you need, and tailor a package of services accordingly.
Flexible Legal Services
You may have finalized your divorce negotiations and need us to prepare the appropriate documents and guide you across the finish line.
Or your situation requires a full service of communicating with your spouse's attorneys, assisting you in negotiations, and attending meetings with you. At KCFL, you will get what you need and only pay for how many legal services it takes to achieve your goals.

You and your attorney will set up a consultation focused on understanding exactly what you need to achieve your goals. You will put together a detailed plan outlining only the services you need and excluding typical lawyer tasks that you don’t need. This helps you keep greater control over your process and your costs.

No problem. It is not unusual for your relationship with your attorney and your needs to expand. You and your attorney will have an open dialogue about your changing goals and how we can help you accomplish them. When that happens, we enter into a new agreement with a new scope of services offered.

Typically not. We always do our best to control your costs, but because of the uncertainty inherent in domestic relations work, we have found providing fair estimates of the work a challenge. We only want you to pay for what you need, and we have found an hourly rate is the best approach for this.
